MMP#133 – Lady Bits episode 12: Casting Sonorus For Gender Equality

HeForSheLeMar tells Jacqui about his trip to the UN for the launch of He For She, a solidarity movement for gender equality. Then, they talk about the President Obama’s “It’s On Us” campaign, a Columbia University student’s art project inspired by her sexual assault, and the positive shift in importance of consent.

Oh…and Jacqui and LeMar also lambaste a TV critic for reducing Shonda Rhimes to an angry black woman…by calling that TV critic a bitch. Twice. Oops.
