Disclaimer: The following is a goofy pitch idea of my own conception. Therefore, I will consider any piece of work that resembles this pitch idea an inconsiderate rip-off. That is unless, of course, someone pays me handsomely for it.
After 20 years in Hollywood, Kyle Dillard’s acting career never took off. To make a living, he’s danced at a ladies-only club, where he’s become the elder statesman among the dancers.
Unfortunately, he’s getting fewer shifts at the club because of the new talent moving in. On the night that he decides to quit dancing and move back to Georgia, former Hollywood starlet (and club regular) Lana LaBella invites him to stay with her at her estate rent-free…in exchange for his “company.”
Kyle’s arrangement with Lana seems to work well until he meets an attractive casting director at an audition. He begins a relationship with the casting director and tries to keep it from Lana. But when he finds out that the casting director is Lana’s estranged daughter, it becomes harder to keep them from finding out about one another.
